V-FLEX | Hybrid Reduced C-Zone Self-Healing Target

TA Targets | V-FLEX HRCZ Target

Cardboard, Steel, and Rubber: Three shooting solutions that help you track your performance as you grow your skillset. Sometimes you need the accountability of cardboard, but you need the efficiency of steel targets. That is precisely why our team set out to take our knowledge of premium / virgin vulcanized rubber and build targets that provide you safety, longevity, and performance every single training session. If you are looking for a self-healing target built for years of high volume use, look no further than our V-Flex targets.

Same Rubber, Smaller Footprint

This target is cut from the identical ballistic rubber compound we use across the V-FLEX line. The same material proven in TA Targets Legacy Bullet Traps since 2017. Nothing about the rubber itself changed. What changed is the size: a 14" x 8" shooting zone instead of the full 24" x 12", so you get a tighter scoring area and a lighter, more portable target. Each V-Flex rubber target is manufactured from our 7/16" thick premium virgin vulcanized rubber. This is NOT recycled material fragments glued together and compressed. This is not horse mat or conveyor belt material. It is manufactured from new raw materials from scratch to exacting standards. We trust this material for our bullet traps and indoor range products, it performs to that exact standard on the outdoor range as well.

Fast hanging, incredible strength and performance

The Hybrid Reduced uses the same TA Targets Shooting Target Clamps included with the all rubber targets, but instead of splitting them across two sides for a flush, both clamps go on a single side of the target. That's a deliberate change, not a scaled-down version of the same idea. A smaller target means a smaller margin for error. There's less scoring zone to work with, so every shot has to be more precise. That's exactly the kind of standard that builds a shooter into a more capable provider and protector.

Run It Solo or Pair It With a Full-Size V-FleX

Because the mounting footprint is smaller, the Hybrid Reduced fits on the same stand as a larger V-FLEX self-healing target. This allows the shooter to treat the Hybrid Reduced C-Zone as a hostage target to the C-Zone. Shooters can work a stationary C-Zone and a harder, smaller zone in the same setup. Gun trainers can do transition drills, split attention between two targets of different difficulty, or add movement to a session as you work between them, without buying a second target stand.

Ammunition Guidance

V-FLEX Self-Healing Targets are rated for ball or FMJ ammunition. This is the ammunition type that lets the ballistic rubber seal and self-heal the way it's designed to.

Do NOT use the following:

• Hollow points
• Flat-nose rounds
• Slugs
• Explosive rounds
• Incendiary rounds

The rubber won't seal and self-heal the way it's designed to if you run ammunition included in this list.

Recommended minimum distances:

• Handguns: 5 yards
• Rifles: 10 yards
• Shotgun (buckshot & birdshot only, no slugs): 15 yards. *Note: Bird shot has a higher likelihood of hitting the plastic clamps, which could cause damage to the clamps.

Backed By a 3-Year, one replacement Warranty

Same standard we hold the all TA Targets V-FLEX Targets to: if this target develops a hole 3 inches or larger, or a tear 4 inches or larger under proper use, it's covered for 3 years. Read our warranty policy.
