Conduit Gong Target System

The Conduit Gong Target System are a no nonsense simplistic way to get you onto the range training with purpose. This is easily the least expensive and simplest/fastest system we make. It takes less than a minute to assemble. Spend less time maintaining, more time shooting with this package. The 3/4″ Conduit is lightweight yet strong enough to hang a couple gong targets from. It is readily available all across this nation. Choose to add the conduit pipe on this page OR simply source some 3/4″ EMT conduit from your local hardware store. You get to choose which is most convenient for your needs! Manufactured In The US, Because It Matters!

Most budget gongs you will find are low quality. If you don’t care about building up US manufacturing, just buy whatever is cheapest. But if you care about supporting US businesses employing US employees, audit who you spend money with! Our company has been manufacturing steel target systems in SE Pennsylvania since 2015.

Adjust the length of the legs and the cross conduit to suit your needs. Breakdown and store easily in your vehicle for transportation. Always remember to disassemble with gloves to avoid lead exposure!

This Conduit Gong Target System kit allows the hanging of a multitude of different gongs and it creates a safe shooting gallery of sorts. Swinging hooks lessen wear and tear on the system. Users could also use chains or straps fastened to the cross conduit pipe if desired. One thing to note: Be VERY careful what steel targets you purchase! While you CAN use other brands of target plates on our gong hanger, it is your responsibility to make sure you are purchasing safe steel and using them in a safe manner. We cannot guarantee safety or performance/distance recommendations with ANY gongs or target plates but our own. That isn’t a sales pitch. We just know there is much snake oil in this market. – NEVER USE THE HOOKS AND BRACKETS AS TARGETS. YOU WILL DAMAGE THEM IMMEDIATELY!. Bullet impacts WILL cause damage.

– NEVER intentionally shoot brackets or mounting posts. Always wear gloves when handling this product, ESPECIALLY after shooting to avoid sharp edges and lead exposure.

– NEVER shoot the conduit. This WILL cause damage to the conduit.

Answer: This system takes less than 60 seconds to assembly. Easily this is our fastest system to set up.

Answer: The Conduit Gong Stand is rated to hold approximately 30-40 pounds of gongs. You should not hang excessive weight on this system. You will find better performance by keeping 3 or less gongs on this system. If you are looking for a system that holds a massive amount of weight, you may want to consider our Deluxe Gong Stand. Where the conduit system shines is the incredibly fast assembly time and ease of use. If that is most important to you, then this is probably the system for you.

Answer: The powder coating will only chip if you bang the components into something else, or if fragmentation hits it. Over time, expect some normal wear and tear on the finish. This is acceptable and normal. However, items that do not get hit with fragmentation will retain their finish for years to come. We don’t like the idea of shipping dusty rusted brackets to you. So we don’t. Just one other way we add value to our products.

Answer: Genesis Systems feature a 90 day manufacturers warranty with an optional lifetime warranty you can purchase. You MUST use proper ammunition (less than 3,000 FPS, NO STEEL CORE OR PENETRATOR, AND follow our distance recommendations ALWAYS). For more information visit Warranty Page

Answer: We include two gong hanger hooks and two “y” shaped brackets for the conduit. We currently do NOT carry the conduit for this system. You will need to visit your local hardware store for that. Make sure you purchase 3/4″ Conduit. The brackets for this system are mild steel and are not intended to be shot. Fragmentation will not be an issue, but you should ALWAYS insure your rounds do NOT impact the brackets, hooks, or conduit.

Answer: Most conduit at your local hardware store will be 10′ lengths. For this reason, we recommend you cut them down to 5′ long. Most hardware stores can do this for you and we HIGHLY recommend letting a professional handle this part for you. A side benefit is most conduit is galvanized, which will protect it from rust for many years. For your benefit, we offer conduit pre-cut HERE.

Answer: Yes. The 3/8″ AR500 is a Domestic Material manufactured here in the United States. It is a great balance of low cost and longevity. You should NEVER use gongs at close range with rifles! Maybe. Just in case, be sure not to eat the paint or lick the target before or after you’ve shot it. If you are just curious, led tastes horrible and will probably cause mental damage. If you have done it once you are likely to do it again. Handle at your own risk, if you choose, you may wear an industry grade hazmat suit and gas mask with a HEPA filter and good luck charm on your wrist.
