01 - Coverage

02 - Exclusions

What Voids Or Limits It

VOIDS THE WARRANTY

  • .22 WMR (Magnum) or .17 HMR ammunition
  • Any centerfire pistol or rifle cartridge
  • Armor-piercing or steel-core ammunition
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Mounting on a non-TA base, mount, or stand

NORMAL WEAR (NOT A DEFECT)

  • Chipped powder coat and paint at the impact area, which appears quickly and is purely cosmetic
  • Bare steel at the center of the plate face after high round count sessions
  • Light surface pocking and dimpling across the plate face
  • Wear at the angle bracket pin holes and on the clevis pin, from the plate rocking on the pin

Excluded from warranty

  • Consumeables
    • Hardware, Wood Post, Mounts
  • Paint & cosmetic damage
  • Theft, loss, misuse

 Genesis AR500 warranty by component

3/16” AR400 Strike Plates/Gongs:

  • Limited Lifetime Warranty: Covers cracks or bullet pass-through

Welded Components (Excluding Strike Plates):

  • Limited lifetime Guarantee of all welded components
  • Covers weld failure affecting function.
  • To qualify, the weld must have broken fully, resulting in a system that no longer functions

Mounts​:

  • No Warranty
  • Guaranteed new & functional on arrival only. Replaceable at customer cost.

Stands​:

  • No Warranty
  • Guaranteed new & functional on arrival only. Replaceable at customer cost.

MICRO-DAP is rated for .22LR (pistols, bolt-action, single-shot, and semi-auto rifles) and .22 Short only.

Never shoot the following at a MICRO-DAP:

  • .22 WMR (Magnum) or .17 HMR — will damage the plate
  • Any centerfire pistol or rifle cartridge, including 5.56 — will damage the plate
  • Bird shot or any shotgun load
  • Armor-piercing or steel-core ammunition, regardless of caliber

There is no "add distance for velocity over 3,000 FPS" table on this page — MICRO-DAP has no approved use case above rimfire velocities. If you're shooting anything other than .22LR or .22 Short, stop and switch targets.

04 - Filing A Claim

How to file



  1. Check eligibility. Standard lifetime guarantee: original purchaser only. original purchaser or gift recipient. Second-hand products aren't eligible either way.
  2. Email us. Send photos of the damage, the ammunition, and the firearm to info@tatargets.com, subject line "Warranty Claim." Include your order number and a short description of the failure.
  3. We respond within 7 business days. If approved, ship the damaged component to the address below.
  4. Inspection & replacement. We inspect within 7 days of receipt and ship a replacement within 14 days if approved. One replacement per component — no cash refunds.

05 - Maintenance

Keep Your 22LR Target Covered

Wear thresholds are listed above under Exclusions — anything past those isn't a defect.

  1. Inspect targets every session; replace anything damaged or unsafe.
  2. Replace hardware as needed. It isn't covered within the warranty.
  3. Never shoot the bases or posts.
