The Deluxe Gong Target System is a 6-target gong rack frame built for shooters who want full control over their steel. It's the same proven frame as our Easy Plate Rack, sold without gongs so you can mix and match your own AR500 or AR550 targets. Available as a 2X4 Post or Fully Armored Post configuration, this system gives you a durable, modular base and lets you decide exactly what goes on it.

Deluxe Gong Target System

The Deluxe Gong Target System is our Easy Plate Rack frame, stripped down to give shooters full control over their target selection. Rather than locking you into one steel type, this system gives you a proven 6-target rack and lets you build it out with whatever AR500 or AR550 gongs fit your training needs. Whether you're running one caliber exclusively or want to mix target sizes and steel grades across the same rack, this system is built to flex with you.

Build Your Own Gong System

Because the gongs aren't included, you're not stuck buying a fixed set. Order the frame once and add targets as your budget or training needs change. Swap in AR550 for high-volume rifle work, mix in AR500 for general use, or size targets differently across the rack.

No. This is the frame only. It's built so you can choose your own mix of AR500 and AR550 gongs rather than being locked into a fixed set. Gongs are sold separately.

No. The 2X4 Post option does not include the 2X4 posts themselves. You'll need to supply your own lumber locally, or order 2X4 boards here.

The Armored Post version replaces the 2X4 with a fully steel-protected post, built for higher-volume ranges and shooters who want a system that doesn't require ongoing maintenance.

If you have done it once you are likely to do it again.
