This kit includes our legendary Breakdown Base AND our Breakdown Base Extension. This product is a replacement to our older generation 26″ base. The added extension creates a tastefully larger footprint that leads to even more stability for ANY of our target systems. While this extended base is standard with our Phoenix, Rifle Dueling Tree, and Goliath systems, it can be used for ANY of our A-DAP target systems or our Single Falling Tree. Purchase this base if you need the maximum stability for your systems.

Extended Breakdown Target Base

The Extended Breakdown Target Base is a COMPLETE Breakdown Base WITH our Extension. This INCLUDES a Breakdown Base with purchase. The Extension was an upgrade offered separately previously. Now you can purchase them together here. The Extension is a simplistic way that we add even more stability to our Breakdown Target Base. This extension bolts onto the base with six included bolts, nuts and washers. The best news is it takes about 30 seconds to install and requires NO tools to install. Another side benefit: The extension stiffens the Breakdown Base substantially, creating an insanely stable platform for training.

Forward Thinking Design & Adaptable.

When we designed the Breakdown Base, we were committed to creating the most capable base we have ever offered. It is a forward thinking design for accessories like this extension. While the Breakdown Base is very stable on its own, there are times when a customer may want an even larger footprint. This is especially true when using our larger systems, like the Goliath or Rifle Dueling Tree. These larger systems exert more movement and load on the bases. It is for this reason that they require the extension. The Extension takes seconds to install or remove. No tools are necessary for install, maintenance, or removal.

Compatible With Our Paper Holders

The Breakdown Base Extension is compatible with BOTH variants of our paper holders. The standard paper holders for USPSA target will mount on the top. The Extended Paper Holders would mount UNDER the base and extension to clear the sides.

Manufactured right here in the great state of Pennsylvania with care to exacting standards. Powder coated for durability and protection from the elements. Please note: Your Breakdown Base and Extension WILL ship in separate boxes and MAY arrive on different dates due to this.

Answer: For most of our systems and most of our customers, the answer is no. You don’t need the base extension if you have a very flat range or you mostly shoot our smaller sized target systems. If you DESIRE even more stability, you can purchase this kit with the extension and you’ll see an increase in stability. We include all hardware needed to set this base and extension up. If your current Breakdown Bases are working for you, then you might not need this setup.

Answer: Yes! You can place the standard paper holders (for USPSA targets) on the top of the extension and run your favorite cardboard targets while using the extension. You can also place our extended paper holders (for 24″+ wide targets) UNDER the breakdown base extension. The holes will line up and allow you to run BOTH variations. Even simultaneously if you’d like.
