Our Double Steel Target Base was originally built for our Double Falling Tree. Eventually, it found itself in use with several of our other AR500 / AR550 steel target systems. This is now the second generation of this welded base. It features the exact same footprint as our Gen 1, but now the 2X4 tubes are fully removable. This means that low impacts do not render the base useless. Simply purchase a replacement Breakdown Base 2X4 Tube and bolt it in place of the damaged one.

Double Steel Target Base

Our Double Steel Target Base was originally built for our Double Falling Tree. Eventually, it found itself in use with several of our other AR500 / AR550 steel target systems. Round Base, Easier to Move.

Our welded round bases are extremely robust. The welded design creates a rigid assembly, and the round shape makes moving heavier systems easy. The large footprint maintains MASSIVE contact with the ground, which is important for any steel target system. This is especially true for systems like our Double Falling Tree. Multiple swinging paddles means that your base needs to be up to the task.

Answer: That is not recommended due to fragmentation mitigation. It IS possible to put two targets side by side, but we limit the use of this base to our MOD 1 bullet trap and our Double Falling Tree. If you are looking for a larger base for the A-DAP Systems, check out the 26" Single Round Base.

Answer: No, this base is strictly meant for our systems that call for our double base. Our BDB paper holders will not work on this base.

All our steel targets are manufactured right here in Pennsylvania. Since the beginning we have been manufacturing our products right here to exacting standards. No Chinese steel, no questionable processes or procedures. Only the best for your range and training.

Maybe. Just in case, be sure not to eat the paint or lick the target before or after you’ve shot it. If you are just curious, led tastes horrible and will probably cause mental damage. If you have done it once you are likely to do it again.
