What the Extended Warranty Covers

The 2‑Year Extended Warranty applies specifically to Genesis AR500 (3/8") strike plates and includes:

• Coverage for cracks in the steel plate
• Coverage for bullet pass‑through caused under proper use
• One replacement strike plate if a covered failure occurs
• Valid for the original purchaser or gift recipient
• Coverage begins from the date of purchase

Extended warranties must be purchased separately for each strike plate you wish to cover.

Built for Proper Use

TA Targets steel is engineered for durability, but all steel targets must be used within safe operating guidelines.

Examples of proper use include:

• Pistol ammunition (≤1,500 FPS): Minimum 10 yards
• Standard rifle calibers (.223 / 5.56, 7.62x39, .308): Minimum 100 yards on 3/8" plates
• Magnum rifle calibers: Minimum 200 yards

Faster ammunition exceeding 3,000 FPS requires increased shooting distances to maintain safe impact energy.

Improper ammunition, unsafe distances, or prohibited projectiles such as armor‑piercing or steel‑core rounds are not covered under warranty.

System Compatibility Requirement

For safety and durability, all warranty claims require the strike plate to be used as part of a complete TA Targets system, including TA Targets mounts or stands. Third‑party mounting systems may alter impact angles and reduce target lifespan.
